"In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom & knowledge."Colossians 2:3
Education is never neutral. It is more than the mere transmission of facts; it involves the communication of life principles and values and, therefore, requires a spiritual context. Because God created, sustains, and will consummate all things through His Son, Jesus Christ, we believe that facts must be taught in the context of a biblical worldview if they are to accurately convey truth. This belief permeates our goals and objectives, our teaching methods, and our curriculum.
At Heritage, our faith informs all we do. We recognize the Lord's presence in all aspects of existence, and the Bible as our foundation and standard of truth. In humble reliance on the Lord, we acknowledge our greatest responsibility is to teach our students to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. To this end, every subject we teach is rooted in Scripture and taught from a biblical worldview. Students have a daily feast of good, true, and beautiful ideas, strengthening their appetite and their ability to discern what is of true value. Our faculty of committed believers seek to train students in the habits of a godly, fruitful life and help them cultivate an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
The board, faculty, and staff at Heritage are committed followers of Christ, who hold the call to provide Christian education as the core tenet of who we are. Heritage students are daily immersed in Scripture and the beauty of the gospel. The end goal is a virtuous, wise person who knows, loves, and follows Jesus Christ. We are not merely concerned with what our students know, but with who our students are becoming.
