Our faculty and staff covet your prayers. We desire to exemplify Christ-likeness in our personal and professional lives, relying on His help to model the wisdom and virtue we want to see in our students. "The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher." (Luke 6:40) Please join us in prayer for the right individuals to fill key faculty and staff roles, and for our fundraising goals to be met.

Give Through a Tax Credit

Fund scholarships at little or no net cost

Louisiana and federal law let you direct tax dollars into K–12 scholarships. Gifts go to an approved Scholarship Granting Organization, which awards need-based scholarships that families may use at Heritage Classical Academy.

Louisiana Tuition Donation Credit

Donate to a Louisiana School Tuition Organization such as ACE Scholarships or Arete Scholars and receive a 95% Louisiana state income tax credit. The remaining portion may qualify for a federal charitable deduction. Unused credit carries forward up to three years.

Beginning January 1, 2027

Federal Education Freedom Tax Credit

Starting in 2027, individual donors receive a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit of up to $1,700 per year for gifts to an approved Scholarship Granting Organization. Unused credit carries forward up to five years. Louisiana has opted in to the program.
